Keep score from your Apple Watch

Keep the phone in your bag and record the match from your wrist. TeamUp Live shows the score and match clock, and lets you log plays during a stoppage or restart.

Logging a goal on Apple Watch: select team and player, then update the score
The real watchOS app, recorded in the simulator with demo teams.

A match log behind the score

Choose Add, the event type, team and player, then confirm. The demonstrated goal flow takes five taps. Entries update the score on the watch and build a timeline you can review. If an entry is wrong, an amendment can correct the log and the score is recalculated.

Use the rules for your sport

Football and hockey count goals; basketball counts points; volleyball uses points and sets. Select the sport and scoring configuration for your event before playing. The watch uses that event’s catalog rather than treating every sport as football.

Keep recording when the connection drops

Select the game on the paired iPhone before play: the watch needs its game, roster and access details. Manual entries can queue on the watch and synchronize when the phone connection returns. Teammates see the updated state only after synchronization. Check the pending-entry counter before leaving.

Dictate a play when speaking is easier

Record who scored and who assisted. Voice notes travel through the paired iPhone for server processing, so recognition needs connectivity and is not instant. Check the result, especially in a noisy hall or when players share a name. Voice notes have a six-hour processing window.

Before your first game

Can I use it without an iPhone?

The watch app requires a paired iPhone running TeamUp Live. You can record through a temporary disconnection once the game is loaded, but the watch does not set up a game on its own.

Will the score appear in Telegram?

Ask the bot to post a scoreboard for the game first. Synchronized entries update that scoreboard. Recording on the watch does not create a scoreboard message automatically.

Do all players need a watch?

No. Only the person choosing to record from the wrist needs one. Other players can keep using the group chat, and spectators can open a shared score link in a browser.
